With winter quickly approaching, we would like to remind you of the winter parking restrictions within the cities of Marquette and McGregor. The following restriction will go into effect on November 1, 2019, and will continue through March 31, 2020. Questions may be directed to the police department or city hall.
City parking lots are available on a first come basis and located under the Marquette-Joliet Bridge and on Edgar Street.
(69.10) Parking is prohibited between 2:00 am and 8:00 am as follows:
- North Street:
- North side of the road (even numbered address) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.
- South side of the road (odd numbered address) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings.
- 2nd Street:
- East side of the road (even numbered address) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.
- West side of the road (odd numbered address) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings.
Violating a winter parking restriction may result in a fine, vehicle impoundment, and/or both.
